[ We're not even going to think about the rage that the event gave him.

Instead, let's backtrack to a couple of days ago--It was a rainy and dreary day, and wandering around getting wet outside probably wasn't the best idea for his health, so he decided to turn in early. But what greeted him when he returned to his humble abode was a familiar cat, sitting on his doorstep looking like he owned the damn place.

Fast forward to today. Souji's kind of got the gist of this journal thing. People use it like a posting board and sometimes open it at the most inconvenient times and say things that are pretty embarrassing. That can be used to his advantage, right?

So when his cat's asleep, he'll lounge next to him, journal open. Oh and he totally dropped it on the floor by accident and that's why it's open conveniently next to him, recording. Right. Everything he says is a complete accident!! ]

Heheh, you're cute when you sleep, Toshizo.

You're always so irritating and giving me bad looks when you're awake. But like this, when you let me pet you... I realize how soft you are, and how peaceful you can be... and even I can calm down a little.

[ A little pause before he chuckles again. pokan the nose... ] So cute. ♥

A few days ago. He doesn't seem to mind the switch at all.

Lucky. Cats are very adaptable. Saizou nearly bit everyone in the village when he first arrived.

Ahahah, that? That's your pig, isn't it?

Mmhm~ He's really quite sweet if it's me, but he's very grumpy to anyone else.

Heheh, that's funny. You think he'd be nice to me, too?

Oh~ I think he'd be nice to you once he realized you're us. Do you think Toshizo will be nice to me if we ever meet?

Hmm. I wonder. You might just have to meet him in person to find out. [ Reaching over and scratching him behind the ears. ]

Where did you end up moving? I meant to follow you home one day, but then our schedules never matched up. ['cause...that isn't creepy at all. gj, souji]

Is that something you admit to other people? [ Jokingly! ...well. "Other people," since Souji is technically him... yeah. ]

But I'll tell you anyway. Building four. I took the first room.

[ he laughs. you're so silly, other me! ]

I'll have to come poke my head in sometime~ I still have his poetry book, after all.

Oh that's right. You do, don't you?

[ chuckle! ] Feel free to stop by whenever you feel like it. Now isn't an inconvenient time, either.

I could come by in a few minutes then~ I'll bring Saizou. Maybe he and Toshizo will get along.

Sure. I'll be waiting.

[ And in the meantime he'll put on some tea. yay me is coming ]

[about 20 minutes later, there will be a knock at his door and the sound of a pig snorting at the floorboards]

Come in~

[ There's only one person that'd be showing up. Right? Souji hasn't really gotten into the habit of locking his door yet so it's open. ]

Hello~ [He opens the door and pokes his head in, picking the pig up so he can stick Saizou's snout around the door, too. The pig is not very impressed, seeing as he can't actually see anything like this and he snorts.]

How are you doing?

I've been better. [ Souji finally gets up to greet him, going ahead and opening the door for them to come in.

Toshizo, on the other hand, who'd woken up from his little nap a few minutes ago, has emerged from the back bedroom to investigate the new people. He'll plop down at the mouth of the hallway, tail waving slowly and giving other Souji a very angry look. ]

Come in, come in~

[aaaah door opening and AAAAAAAAAH KITTY. He'd poke at that 'been better' comment, but Souji himself hates being poked about his health so....yes.

Instead, Souji steps inside and spies the cat, kneeling down to smile at him. Saizou snorts from his position safely nestled in his owner's arms.]

Ooh, he's so handsome~ Is he upset that we woke him from his nap?

[ Glancing over at his own pet as he takes a seat on the couch. Toshizo's eyes don't leave other Souji. ] ...No. He always looks like that.

[ He peers over at Saizou in Souji's arms. ...And can't help but wonder where on earth he picked up a pig as a pet? Eh. He can ask later. ]

[Souji laughs easily and tilts his head to one side, holding a hand out toward Toshizo.] I can see why you gave him his name then.

But he's a very handsome cat. Where did you get him?

He looks just like him, doesn't he? [ Grin! ]

I looked after him for a little while he was injured. Here, he just showed up at my door.

Right down to the little scowl~ [♥ Oh, Kittyzo! You so are cute. Souji wants to put a ribbon around your neck just to watch you flip out and try to kill him. ♥]

It seems he knows where his home is no matter where he is, hm~?
