[ The feed turns on, but there's a slight moment of silence before Souji finally speaks. ]
Hajime Saitou, Shinsengumi third division captain. Heisuke Toudou, Shinsengumi eighth division captain.
...Looks like they've been sent home, huh?

[ Later that afternoon you will find not one, but two Soujis making their presence known in the town square. Standing on benches near the fountain, they both have books open and seem to be reading from them, projecting their voices over the wide open area. There's an open journal by their feet, simultaneously broadcasting it over the network. Wonder what they're doing? Why not take a closer look? ]
[laughing] Okay, here is one of my favorites:
[DRAMATIC CLEARING OF THROAT and speaking loudly enough for the entire plaza to hear]
春の花五色までは覚えけり
Of the spring flowers
I have remembered up to
The fifth colour.
[.....pffffffffffhahahahahah]
Which is your favorite~?
[ GRINNING. It is SO hard not to break out into laughter. ]
Hm, that's a rather nice one, but I guess I prefer--
うくひすやはたきの音もつひやめる
Cuckoo and duster
Sounds from one and the other
Both stop suddenly
--It's pretty deep, don't you think? But I think if you think about it for too long you might get a headache.
[ Looks like it's a poetry reading, but too bad it's all awful.
