壱 - Action
[ When Souji finds himself in Luceti, he's in an understandable panic. He's by himself, his things are gone, and the damned book talks.
But it doesn't take him long to grasp the situation--he's somehow ended up in this different world brought in by some organization filled with crazy scientists, everyone needs the wings to survive, all his things are in the clothes and weapon shop, everything is free, and he can't go home. Despite everything being laid out for him all nice and neat, it just makes him even more angry. This must be a mistake. He doesn't belong here.
He does eventually find his way to the town center, and without delay grabs anything he recognizes as his. At this point he's gotten a good look of what kind of people are in this place, and it's quite obvious that none of them can be trusted. He's not going to take any chances.
...But someone must have an answer, right? ]
[ So if you pass through the square today you'll encounter Souji, in full Shinsengumi uniform and fully armed, arms crossed and eyes narrowed, peering cautiously at anyone who passes by. He looks relaxed, but a trained eye'd be able to tell that he's ready to strike at any moment. And it actually might look like he's smiling, but upon closer inspection, there's something more sinister behind those eyes.
Yeah, he knows there's nothing he can do, but it doesn't stop him from being pissed.
So if you're one of the lucky ones who makes eye contact, prepare to be approached. ]
Hey, you.
Got a moment?

Hey, you.

And...this guy looks interesting. Like he jumped right out of one of those old Japanese woodblock prints, except...prettier. And right when his eyes meet hers, she looks away awkwardly. Getting caught staring? Not so much with the smooth, Willow.
Oops. Too late, here he comes! Act casual.]
M-me? [Of course you, genius.] Sure! What do you need?
no subject
The one that brought me here... was that you?

She lets her eyes fall to his sword before meeting his gaze again, and (carefully, so as not to make the man with the sword freak out) answers his question.]
Noooo, that wasn't me, sorry. The Malnosso did that.

Ayumu casually steers her course to take her past the stranger, her demeanor that of any woman out shopping with a basket over one arm, on the way to fetch food for dinner. And if her eyes should accidentally happen to meet his, why, then she'll simply have to pause with a slightly uncertain, though not unfriendly smile.]
I beg your pardon?

[ Smiling back! Though this looks more like a smirk than anything.
It's kind of frustrating when no one's been very helpful so far. Maybe she will be. ]
